# Basil Pesto Pasta with Corn

## Ingredients

### Pasta

- 200 g pasta, cooked
- 200 g chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup corn
- 200 g cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 chicken stock cube

### Pesto

- 1 cup basil leaves
- 1/4 cup raw almonds or pine nuts
- 1/4 cup parmesan
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves

## Method

1. Blend all the pesto ingredients with a hand blender until smooth.
2. Heat a pan, add the butter, then the chicken with salt, black pepper and the stock cube, then the corn, then the pesto and fry 30 seconds, then the cream and pasta, then the milk, and finally the parmesan (mozzarella optional).
