# Banana Cake

## Ingredients

- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

## Method

1. Cream the butter and sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla and bananas.
2. Mix the dry ingredients and add gradually to the batter.
3. Pour into a tin greased with butter and flour, scatter the chocolate chips on top and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C on the middle rack for about 45 minutes.
