Gravy Sauce (for Mashed Potatoes or Steak)

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp flour
• 3/4 cup water with a stock cube
• Salt and black pepper
• 2 tbsp mushroom soup powder, or 2 tbsp ready-made steak sauce with 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tbsp cream or qashta

Method

1. Melt the butter with the flour, add the stock (water and cube) and let it thicken, then add the steak sauce, Worcestershire and cream. Serve hot over potatoes or sliced steak.
